Jackson Browne also makes a welcome return to the Koussevitzky Shed on Tuesday, June 21, at 7 p.m. An inductee of both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Mr. Browne last performed at Tanglewood in 2013 as the headlining act for the July 4 concert. He made his Tanglewood debut in July 1973. Multi-platinum American rock band Train—known for such chart-topping hits as “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me),” “Calling All Angels,” and “Hey, Soul Sister”—takes the stage on Tuesday, August 23, at 7 p.m. Pop sensation Andy Grammer —who enjoyed a successful 2015, earning his first top 10 hit on the Billboard chart with “Honey, I’m Good”—will open the concert. Train made its Tanglewood debut in August 2011 and most recently performed there in August 2014, while Mr. Grammer’s first and only Tanglewood appearance was in August 2012, as the opening act for Train. The B-52s—dubbed “The World’s Greatest Party Band” and known worldwide for hits such as “Love Shack,” “Rock Lobster,” and “Roam”—bring the party to the Pops as they join the orchestra for a very special evening on Friday, September 2, at 8 p.m. With a career spanning over 35 years and more than 20 million album sales, there is no doubt that this beloved group’s first-ever performance at Tanglewood will be a night to remember. Tanglewood’s Popular Artists line-up also features Beach Boys co-founder Brian Wilson (6/19), A Prairie Home Companion with host Garrison Keillor (6/27), the Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration featuring renowned guitarist Warren Haynes (7/1), James Taylor (7/3&4), and a live broadcast of NPR’s Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!
