International opera singers Randolph Locke and Carol Sparrow are husband and wife and have sung leading roles with major opera houses and orchestras to critical and popular acclaim throughout the world.
They have created a form of bringing their talents to the public: pOpera! Having performed classical and popular musical theater favorites throughout their careers, they are now including more contemporary fare ranging from Bette Midler to Sammy Davis, Jr. Musical favorites for absolutely everyone!
Roser Church is located near the Anna Maria City Pier at 512 Pine Avenue. The Concert Series will be held in the Roser Community Church Sanctuary. There is no admission charge for the concert; a free will offering will be taken.
This is the first of three concerts in the 2016 Concert Series. On February 21 featured artists will be the New Orleans Nighthawks Jazz Band and on March 13 we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Irish musician, Paul Duffy.
