January 22 FreeThinkers talk with Doug Hughes who landed his gyrocopter on the Capitol grounds
On January 22nd at 10 a.m. FreeThinkers proudly presents a free talk with Douglas Hughes who flew his gyrocopter from Gettysburg, PA to Washington, D.C. and landed on the Capitol building grounds, carrying 535 letters protesting financial corruption in the nation’s government. He intended to deliver them to every voting member. That didn’t work out. He was arrested, the letters confiscated and prosecutors hit him with six charges, one of which was flouting flying restrictions around and over the nation’s capital.
