Brooklyn, NY – The BUST Craftacular is celebrating the holidays with a can’t-miss, two-day DIY bash in Brooklyn! The event will be held this weekend on Saturday December 19th and Sunday December 20th at the Brooklyn Expo Center (72 Noble Street, Brooklyn, NY) and will host 230+ vendors offering unique gifts, toys, jewelry, streetwear, cosmetics, delectable food, beer, and more. Guests will be able to make their own flower crowns, take an ugly holiday sweater selfie at Magbooth photobooth, and wrap their gifts in style at the gift-wrapping station. Plus, attendees can participate in holiday haiku duels, and participate in free crafting classes like henna and needle felting.
Debbie Stoller, BUST Magazine editor-in-chief and author of the New York Times best selling series, Stitch ‘n Bitch, will be holding arm knitting tutorials various times throughout the event, teaching attendees how to create their own unique, hand made gifts for loved ones.
Dusty Rose Vintage gathers some of their favorite fashion folks under one roof to host Dusty Rose’s Vintage Wonderland, a vintage experience within the BUST Holiday Craftacular including East Village Vintage Collection, Lotus Vintage, Wayward Collection, and Dan’s Parent’s House. On Saturday, visitors can participate in a tarot reading or grab styling advice from the super talented Stefany Mohebban of Pretty In Thrift. On Sunday, professional styling and image consultant, Nejla Renee, will help shoppers find the right pieces for their body type and personal style.
The BUST Craftacular also features DJs That’s So Raben (PUSSYPOWER), Ali Gruber, and Sheila B. The first 300 guests will be treated to an awesome goodie bag and all guests can sign up to win a raffle of free gifts. Visitors can also meet with BUST Magazine staffers to talk all things feminist and purchase subscriptions to the official magazine for badass ladies. Local vendors in Brooklyn include Isa’s Restoratives, molly+ace, Cradle Jewelry, Brooklyn Brittle, CAMPOS Bags, MessQueen, Morphologically, Umsteigen, Haute Chocolate Brooklyn, Oxalis Apothecary, Brooklyn Butcher Blocks, Sayaka Davis, and many more.
This is definitely one of the can’t-miss things to do in New York for the shopping season, offering an interactive experience that everyone can enjoy!
Tickets will be available online and at the door and general admission is just $3.
