About SPITE:
The goal of SPITE was to become the band they always wanted to hear. Genuine, heavy, and angry music.
SPITE began in late August of 2014 when Cody Fuentes and Darius Tehrani wrote and dropped their first single “Misery,” recorded at Rapture Studios in Hayward, California. After noticing a strong reaction from all kinds of metal core, beatdown, and hardcore fans, they decided to take the band to the next level. Adding bassist Stephen Mallory, and guitarists Lucas Garrigues and Alex Tehrani (Darius’s brother), the bands lineup was complete with dedicated members.
Throughout that fall season, their first EP named after the single, “Misery” was written. In November of 2014, with the help of Chugcore Promotions, the EP was debuted through YouTube and later iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and Pandora. YouTube views spiked immediately and hype for the band took off. With aid from Bay Area California promoters, SPITE got booked shows and kids already were singing along to lyrics and causing havoc in the pit, already asking for new music and merchandise.
The hype continued to grow rapidly the more they played shows and promoted their music online, resulting in a Facebook “like” boom, now at almost 16k. In the process of writing they released a cover of Slipknot’s “The Heretic Anthem,” lyric videos, and merchandise including T-Shirts and beanies advertising their logo, the SPITE skull.
SPITE has a vision of growing and becoming a monster of a band, ready to take over the heavy music genre. They’ve now completed tracking their 11 song self-titled album filled with aggressive, malicious, headbanger songs just waiting to be released, along with music videos and other promotional material.
SPITE is ready to tour and take over.
Long live the devil.
Long live the snake.
