NEW YORK — The Juilliard School’s newest ensemble, the Juilliard Wind Orchestra, is led by conductor Patricia Rogers, a member of Juilliard’s faculty and principal bassoonist of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, in works by Mozart and Strauss on Sunday, October 11, 2015, at 3pm in Paul Hall at Juilliard.

The program features Mozart’s Serenade No. 11 in E-flat Major, K. 375; Strauss’s Suite in B-flat Major, Op. 4; and selections from Mozart’s Così fan tutte for eight winds (arranged by Johann Nepomuk Wendt).

The 12-15 member ensemble provides additional performance opportunities for students throughout the year, as well as the experience of working on important wind repertoire with master wind players.
