Bella Naija publishes a story about AFP as a Pan-African movement !

Words from Odera Ozoka on the film were also spotted recently on AllAfrica.com

INTRODUCING UGOCHI “MOREMI” AMUTA:

Nigeria born Ugochi Amuta recently returned to Nigeria and settled in Lagos after saying goodbye to the United States, where she attended university and began her career. After finishing school with a Masters in Communications from the University of Southern California, Ugochi landed a job at one of LA’s leading progressive media firms, Wondros. She had the opportunity to work with some of the world’s leading change-making organizations, but she soon realized that it was home in Nigeria where she could make the biggest impact and pursue her many artistic talents.

Ugochi has joined the AFP and is working to bring our message directly to our audience:

I’m a Self Described:  Professional communicator – whether its through music, writing, arts, PR etc…communication is my thing!

Location: Lagos

Favorite Movie as a Kid: The Last of the Mohicans

A Media Mogul I Admire Is: Nigerian online media mogul Uche Pedro.

I’m a Part of the AFP Team Because: I love the idea of a film campaign being more than just about the glitz and glamour and celebs involved. I love that it is a social movement.

The Most Exciting Thing About This Project Is: The tremendous support received from all who have heard about the film.

Our Biggest Challenge in Making the Film Is: There’s so much to do in each 24-hr day but so little time it seems! One must fully master the art of multitasking.

A Message to The Audience: A Forgotten Place is nothing you’ve ever seen before. It’s an awesome project and we want YOU to be a part of it!
