PAPADOSIO–a must-see act on the touring and festival circuits that’s hailed as a “tour-de-force” by ThatDrop.com (7/10/15)–has returned with their first new music in a year. “Glimpse Of Light”–the first single off the band’s forthcoming full-length studio album EXTRAS IN A MOVIE, due out October 2–is out now on all digital retailers and available instantly to those that pre-order the album. To coincide with the release of “Glimpse Of Light,” the Asheville, NC-based group has partnered with MusicTimes.com to premiere the official music video for the track, directed by the band’s own Anthony Thogmartin. Watch the “Glimpse Of Light” video now here.
The hauntingly beautiful and mesmerizing visuals coincide with the song’s powerful message. The band explains, “‘Glimpse Of Light’ is pretty much a love song written to everyone in the world. It’s about recognizing that we all share the same struggles and personal battles but also all have the potential to change. Sometimes this realization hits people really hard, especially when they learn to love their enemies. That is why the song has a harder edge.”
