Sarasota County Public Libraries promote online learning resource ‘Learning Express Library’ this month
SARASOTA COUNTY – Sarasota County Public Libraries will be promoting their Learning Express resources during the month of September. Learning Express Library is an online learning resource for academic and career development designed for both students and adults.
The Learning Express Library is designed to help people improve their academic skills, achieve educational goals, prepare for careers, and successfully enter the job market. There are several categories, including School (grades 4-12), High School Equivalency, College, College Preparation, Career, Adult Learning, and Spanish, that make it easier for adults and students to locate the resources they need.
Patrons can search and access tutorials as well as create their own secure personalized portfolios. The new tutorial design provides feedback and guidance, including unit and lesson reviews, assessment tests, quizzes, and study plans. The test preparation features include learner, exam, and simulation modes. These practice modes improve test readiness and help students and adults prepare for a wide range of academic exams.
Registered Sarasota County Public Library card holders can access the Learning Express online database via the library’s website at www.scgov.net/library. Stop by any Sarasota County Public Library to register and learn how to have online access to these learning resources.
