August 13, 2015 – Los Angeles, CA – Alternative rock trio 20 eyes have premiered their new music video for the single “Ladies Choice.” The upbeat clip, written while singer Wolf Bradley stayed with renowned ballerina Misty Copeland in New York City, can be viewed on Pancakes and Whiskey and on the band’s Youtube channel.
“I wrote this song while staying with Misty Copeland in New York for a week,” singer Wolf Bradley explained. “I fell in love with the concrete jungle background of the city. I walked around like the tourist I was, determined to become as savvy as a local. I had my head phones in blasting the Beastie Boys and taking in all the culture I could. I wanted a break from some of the heavier material I was writing, so I wrote this song and made this video. There’s nothing wrong with having some fun with your music.”
20 Eyes is a three-piece band from San Pedro, California. Frontman Wolf Bradley got an early start in the creative process when, at the age of two, he awoke one morning to find a strange girl sleeping in his room – aspiring ballerina Misty Copeland. Wolf’s family invited young Copeland to live with them so that she could train at his parents’ ballet studio in San Pedro. The two shared bunk beds and Misty became Wolf’s de facto sister, second mother and pivotal muse in his young life. He saw her devotion to ballet and discovered his own passion for music and devoted his life to his craft. They remain eachother’s fans and close friends to this day. It was also at his parents’ ballet studio where Wolf met his bandmates, Andrew Macatrao and Chance Famighetti, but not as dancers. As young teens, they were caught shoplifting, and the Long Beach judge, ironically, required each of them to serve community service for the San Pedro Ballet School to reform their character. Luckily, it all worked out!
