Chart-topping British DJ and super producer Duke Dumont announces a three-EP series entitled Blasé Boys Club – which is also the moniker for the two-time GRAMMY®-nominee’s record label and collective of like-minded artists. Part 1 will be released on October 2 via Astralwerks / Blasé Boys Club in the U.S. Fans can pre-order Blasé Boys Club Part 1 HERE. See below for track listing. The visualizer for lead single “Ocean Drive” premiered today and can be seen HERE. The song debuted in the U.K. yesterday on BBC Radio 1 as Annie Mac’s “Hottest Record.” In the States, it premiered on BPM on SiriusXM with Geronimo. Dumont will discuss his new project with Jason Bentley tomorrow, August 1, on “Metropolis,” airing from 10:00 PM – 12:00 AM PT on KCRW, Southern California’s flagship NPR affiliate.

Blasé Boys Club Part 1 kicks off with slinky, majestic pop jam “Ocean Drive,” which conjures nocturnal visions of a lost scene from Nicolas Winding Refn’s 2011 film Drive while boasting the kind of infectious and stirring melody that is Duke at his most quintessential. Next up is the grooving, eight-minute disco track “Robert Talking,” which features legendary 80’s house vocalist Robert Owens. “Melt” backdrops yearningly soulful vocals with a pacific house groove, showcasing a more atmospheric facet of Dumont’s production, and the transatlantic smash and festival staple “Won’t Look Back” closes the four-song EP.
Dumont has sold nearly 1.5 million singles and has surpassed 100 million streams across Spotify and Deezer. His breakthrough 2013 single “Need U 100%” was the first U.K. house track in more than a decade to hit No. 1 in his native U.K. Stateside, it topped Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart and was nominated for a GRAMMY for Best Dance Recording. Dumont repeated that success nine months later with the follow-up single, “I Got U,” which was also nominated for a GRAMMY award and topped both the U.K. singles chart and Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart. The official video for “I Got U” has more than 125 million views and the song was tapped by Starbucks for a national ad campaign. 2014’s “Won’t Look Back” was Dumont’s third No. 1 single on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart.
