Annual 5K Run/Walk Celebrating Colorado Symphony’s New Season

Create a team, run with your dog or stroller, or run solo to help support your Colorado Symphony’s 2015/16 Season at this fun-filled event on Sept. 19

July 10, 2015 – The Colorado Symphony is proud to announce the return of the 5K run/walk to kick off the start of our 2015/16 Season taking place on September 19, 2015 at Sloan’s Lake Park. This fundraiser event supports the Colorado Symphony’s mission to engage, educate and entertain the community of Colorado. Dogs, kids, strollers and especially costumes are all encouraged.

Not your typical run
The Colorado Symphony 5K offers much more than just 5 kilometers of running or walking. You can leave your headphones at home because a variety of music ensembles will be performing throughout course, ending with a concert at the finish line.

Among the participants will be multiple musicians and staff members of the Colorado Symphony including CEO Jerry Kern.

“The 5K is a great opportunity for the community to kick off the Symphony’s 15-16 Season, and to see if you can out run your favorite musicians.” – Colorado Symphony CEO Jerry Kern
