SUMMER SERIES OF COMEDY IN THE SUMMER
Lahaina, HI – June 17, 2015 – Riding the wave created by the successful 2014 Maui Comedy Festival, the producers will keep the laughs coming with the Maui Comedy Festival Summer Series of Comedy in The Summer – a string of one-night-only performances each month from June to September. The event kicks off this weekend with the epically droll master comedian, Todd Barry performing in Paia at Charley’s Restaurant & Saloon.
From July to September the remaining performances will be held within the Maui Arts & Cultural Centers beautiful 1250-seat Castle Theater.
July brings the irreverent and critically-acclaimed Jim Jefferies, with his unique no-holds-barred stand-up that has sold out theaters worldwide. August welcomes the multi-talented comic and actor Patton Oswalt to Maui for the first-time. September saves the classic comedy for last with Sinbad. Ranked by Comedy Central as one of the top 100 stand-up comedians of all time, Sinbad is enjoying something of a renaissance these days with a style and charisma that continues to pack clubs and auditoriums alike.
