Following each Sunday matinee on Asolo Rep’s Mezzanine
Hootenany (hü-tə-na-nē): an informal gathering where folk musicians join in a free flowing jam session.
Ticket holders and the general public are invited to bring their instruments and join the Woody Sez cast for these exciting, family friendly jam sessions following the Sunday matinee performances on June 14 and 21. They will start at approximately 4pm and are open to musicians and music lovers of all ages. Hootenanies are FREE of charge and food and drink will be available for purchase.
The 2015-2016 Season is Just around the Corner
There is just a little over one week left in our 2014-15 season – one of our biggest selling, most critically acclaimed seasons on record. We’ll kick off the 15-16 season with our New Stages Touring production Twelfth Night, which will travel to schools and communities across Florida in October and November. On November 13, our main stage season opens with the spectacular West Side Story on the Mertz Stage.

Subscribers will be able to make exchanges and purchase single tickets beginning Thursday, September 10. Single tickets will be available to the public online only starting Saturday, September 26 at 12:01 a.m. and continue through Sunday, September 27. Asolo Rep Celebrates Volunteer Appreciation Day
Every day is Volunteer Appreciation Day at Asolo Repertory Theatre, but specifically on Monday, June 8, our wonderful ushers and administrative volunteers were honored at a special event held at the theatre. The fun began at 4pm with a wine and cheese reception on the mezzanine where 130+ volunteers were recognized by Asolo Rep Marketing Director Judith Lambert and House Services Manager Jay Poindexter. At 5pm, volunteers were treated to a private showing of the classic film, “West Side Story,” to get everyone excited for next season. Words can’t express how much we appreciate the more than 600 volunteers who donate their time to Asolo Rep and make such a difference in our organization.
