April Showers Bring May Kittens
|
Kitten season has arrived and over 50 kittens have been placed in foster care in the last few weeks. We are in great need of loving foster families and bottle baby feeders, as we expect many more kittens to arrive soon.
Our foster care program provides temporary safe and loving homes to kittens and cats until the kittens are eight weeks old and return to Cat Depot to find a permanent family. This program offers a second chance to many animals who would not thrive in a shelter environment.
Are you interested in helping Cat Depot save more lives? Please attend foster training and learn lifesaving bottle feeding techniques, how to manage a mom and her new litter, adult cat care, our 3-3-3 program and hospice care.

| Does Someone Need a Hug? |
When Sidney wants attention, you will definitely know it. She stands up and reaches out to let passersby know she is ready for some love.
A true fashionista at heart, Sidney has striking white whiskers that accent her beautiful green eyes and shiny, black coat. And with her white markings, she is always ready for formal affairs in her tuxedo.
Sidney is a lap kitty and her favorite pastime is to curl up and take a nap. She is quite the hugger. Let her sit on your lap and she will wrap her paws around your neck and cuddle with you. Having a down day? Sidney will comfort you and give you a shoulder to cry on. Having a great day? Perfect! Sidney is ready to be happy with you.

| Adoption Story from Texas |
Two years ago I lost my favorite cat, Mister. I had looked and looked for a pinstripe grey tabby since then to no avail. Then I visited Cat Depot – and there he was. Bugs.
I was vacationing at St. Pete Beach at the time, so I had to get Bugs back to Texas with me. And a month later, he took his first of many airplane rides.
Once we were back on Texas soil, I had to introduce him to his new sister, Abigail, a 60 pound Goldendoodle! YIKES.
As you can see all went well. Bugs was never afraid. He was cautious but very bossy. Bugs is definitely the dominant one in their relationship. They are truly in love.
Thank you, Cat Depot, for rescuing the perfect cat for us…and Abigail.
