happy st. patrick’s day! our roundup of non-st.patrick’s day events will be published and emailed by 1pm 

11am-2pm(ish): mayor de blasio and several beer companies are boycotting it, but 150,000+ marchers will still make their way up 5th avenue from 44th to 79th streets for the 253rd st. patrick’s day parade (the world’s biggest). can’t make it? the event will be streaming live here>>

3-6pm (ends today): get yer nails done up st. patrick’s day-style (for free!) by the folks from vanity projects at the hyatt union square (134 fourth ave. @ 13th st.)>>

4-7:30pm: attend a sober st. patrick’s day party with entertainment, food, and soft drinks. cathedral h.s. (350 e. 56th st. @ madison ave), $15-20. >>

4, 8pm: pogues/popes cover band streams of whiskey plays b.b. king blues. $7.50 plus fees here (reg. $18) >>

5pm: grab a free corned beef sandwich at cobble hill’s the brazen head bar >>

5-9pm: $4 guinness, $4 whiskey shots, free pizza with beer purchase, corned beef + cabbage, and more await as 10 williamsburg bars keep you in line at the third annual patrick’s day grand street pub crawl>>

6-9pm: there’ll be $1 beer and free chili at the baby’s all right and boo-hooray chili cookoff with endless boogie. free admission. >>

7:30pm: learn about the history of ireland’s beer with drink samples paired with cheeses at alphabet city beer co.. $25. >>

7:30pm doors, 8pm show: st. patrick’s day is for sinners at the annual all-redhead edition of wasabassco burlesque. the bell house, $20 (redheads get in free!). >>

8-10pm: dead rabbit’s second annual st. patrick’s day whiskey feast has complimentary corned beef sandwiches and $10 jameson black barrel cocktails. >>

9pm doors, 9:30pm show: dandy wellington hosts the first annual black irish ball with burlesque and live hot jazz. macao trading co. (311 church st., off canal st.). free (rsvp). >>
