Randy Houser with Dustin Lynch – Friday, Aug. 28
American country artists Randy Houser and Dustin Lynch will break off from Luke Bryan’s wildly popular That’s My Kind of Night Tour to bring their distinctive sounds to the stage at the Mandalay Bay Beach for a performance Friday, Aug. 28 at 9 p.m.
With an inimitable voice the New York Times describes as “wholly different, thicker and more throbbing, a caldron bubbling over,” Houser has racked up four smash hits and more than three million in singles sales to date with his Stoney Creek Records album How Country Feels. He topped the charts with the title track, “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight” and “Goodnight Kiss,” which was his first No. 1 as a songwriter, and earned critical acclaim for his powerful delivery of the Top 5 hit, “Like A Cowboy.” Houser is currently headlining his own dates and touring with Luke Bryan on the That’s My Kind of Night Tour and the Kick The Dust Up Tour, scheduled to launch in May.
Since releasing his Platinum debut single, “Cowboys and Angels,” Dustin Lynch has launched on to the country music scene. Racking up over 20.5 million views on YouTube/ VEVO, soaring to No. 1 on the MTV Music Meter and selling 2.4 million digital singles, the Tennessee native brings a fresh combination of traditional influences and edgy intensity to the genre. Producers Mickey Jack Cones, Brett Beavers and Luke Wooten showcase his progressive sound throughout his sophomore album, WHERE IT’S AT (Broken Bow Records), which debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart upon release. Fueled by the multi-week No. 1, GOLD-certified smash “Where It’s At,” the buzz-worthy title track has earned well over 10.7 million streams on Spotify and his hot single “Hell of a Night” is Top 35-and-climbing the Country radio charts.
Tickets are priced at $39.50, not including applicable service charges.
Iration and KATCHAFIRE – Friday, July 17
Popular reggae groups Iration and KATCHAFIRE will heat up the Mandalay Bay Beach stage Friday, July 17 at 9 p.m.
Iration is an alternative/reggae group of musicians who met while growing up in Hawaii but formed the band after reconnecting in Santa Barbara, Calif. The band’s 2010 album Time Bomb hit No. 1 on the iTunes Reggae Album Chart and has enjoyed a successful run on the Billboard Reggae Album Chart. The group has been touring nationally since 2007, performing at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Wakarusa, Sierra Nevada World Music Festival and the Sunset Strip Music Festival. Iration has headlined several successful national club tours with numerous sold out shows nationwide. Its third full-length album, Automatic, combines elements of reggae, rock and pop to create a truly unique listening experience. Automatic debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Reggae charts. Multiple songs by Iration have topped alternative radio station charts throughout the country, including Time Bomb’s “Turn Around” and “Falling,” as well as Automatic’s “Back Around” and title track. The title track was recently remixed for the radio and is starting to receive play nationwide.
Hailing from New Zealand, KATCHAFIRE has become a global roots reggae phenomenon. The Maori reggae band boasts four highly successful studio albums, multiple awards and platinum sales. Its sound, built on the foundations of classic roots reggae with an R&B and funk rub, mashes modern dancehall and slinky reggae pop. KATCHAFIRE was built on a family movement which started when lead guitarist Grenville Bell, father of lead singer Logan Bell and drummer, singer, songwriter Jordan Bell, moved into an apartment together to focus on their music. Countless jams and sold-out concerts later, they are now an eight-person group of multi-talented songwriters and musicians who have become a staple on the Californian and Pacific Roots scenes.
Tickets are priced at $32.50, not including applicable service charges. Please note: Pepper will no longer be performing as previously announced.
