The Curtis Chamber Orchestra tours the United States this month with a program focusing on the achievements of alumni and faculty. Robert Spano leads the world premiere of Jennifer Higdon’s new Viola Concerto written for Roberto Díaz, plus works by Mozart, Prokofiev, and Mr. Spano himself (in a new orchestration by David Ludwig). The tour kicks off in Washington, D.C. on March 7 at the Library of Congress. Before continuing to Florida and California, the artists briefly return to Philadelphia on March 9 for a live-streamed online performance that you can access on Curtis Performs at 8 p.m. E.T., no matter where you are!
