New York, NY— Taken from deadmau5’s GRAMMY Nominated double album, while(1<2), “Seeya“ was an immediate fan favorite upon its release in June 2014. The single, which features rock-inspired vocals from newcomer Colleen D’Agostino, quickly reached Gold status in Canada.
Since then, deadmau5 has been busy – releasing the double album 5 years of mau5, working on a new studio build and signing Colleen D’Agostino to his heralded imprint, mau5trap.
To celebrate her signing, the label has released a stunning acoustic cover of “Seeya” with accompanying video. Stripped back to a simple combination of piano, guitar and Colleen’s effortless vocals, it’s easy to see why deadmau5 is working on and releasing her six-track debut EP Collide via mau5trap on March 15.
deadmau5 will be performing with Colleen D’Agostino at this year’s JUNO Awards in Hamilton on March 15, where he is nominated for Electronic Album of The Year and the prestigious Artist of The Year.
