ONE NIGHT FOR ONE DROP
One Night for ONE DROP is an original, one-night-only production scheduled for Friday, March 20 at The Beatles LOVE Theatre inside The Mirage. The event will feature artists from each of the eight Las Vegas Cirque du Soleil productions.
The third Annual One Night for ONE DROP, held around World Water Day, is being created and directed by Mukhtar O.S. Mukhtar for the second consecutive year. The evening will feature Cirque du Soleil artists when they bring together the message of “ONE THOUGHT, ONE WORLD,” as a metaphor of time and its effect on society, encouraging us to create the world in which we want to live.
ONE DROP, a non-profit organization created by Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté, works to secure water access by implementing integrated and unique water projects around the world and to reverse the growing water crisis by raising awareness for water-related issues. Since its inception in 2007, ONE DROP has worked to provide access to clean, safe water for more than 300,000 people.

MGM Resorts Festival Grounds
The MGM Resorts Festival Grounds sits on nearly 50 acres on the southwest corner of Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Blvd. The Festival Grounds is scheduled to host Rock in Rio for two weekends in May. The capacity for each event will vary, but can reach as many as 80,000. The infrastructure at the Festival Grounds will include restrooms, power, water, fiber and the basic operational items.
ROCK IN RIO
Rock in Rio, the world’s biggest music festival, has joined forces with MGM Resorts International, Cirque du Soleil and Ron Burkle (The Yucaipa Companies) for the festival’s U.S. debut in Las Vegas in May. An alliance founded on a shared commitment to creating innovative entertainment, Rock in Rio will redefine the modern music festival for U.S. audiences with a monumental combination of the biggest names in music and a fully immersive entertainment experience, all housed in the spectacular, custom-made “City of Rock.” Over the past 30 years, Rock in Rio festivals have delivered more than 1,120 performances by artists including The Rolling Stones, Justin Timberlake and Lorde for one billion fans worldwide. The Professional Bull Riders (PBR), the world’s premier bull riding circuit, will launch the first Cowboy Spring Break event at MGM Resorts Village over Memorial Day Weekend. The three-day event will include pool parties, frozen cocktails, sizzling VIP events and concerts performed by world-class artists and ultimately, the world’s best bull riders taking on the nation’s top bucking bulls. Headlining the three-day extravaganza is one of the PBR’s most popular and toughest event formats, Last Cowboy Standing. ROUTE 91 HARVEST FESTIVAL
Route 91 Harvest Festival will return to the MGM Resorts Village for the second consecutive year October 2 – 4. The three-day, two-stage festival will be headlined by country music superstars Florida Georgia Line, Tim McGraw and Keith Urban as well as Lady Antebellum and Jake Owen. This year’s event will feature new VIP options including Neon Lounge VIP passes which will allow festival- goers to enjoy a shaded side stage lounge, upgraded restroom facilities and special access to a cash bar and food concessions. The ultimate St. Patrick’s Day extravaganza, Celtic Feis festival, is back and bigger than ever with a five day celebration at Nine Fine Irishmen at NewYork-New York Hotel & Casino beginning Friday, March 13 through Tuesday, March 17. A rare cherub statue is on display now through March 31 at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition inside Luxor Hotel and Casino. This is the Cherub’s first Las Vegas appearance and is available to view for those who purchase general admission tickets to the Exhibition. The limited-time display is the latest artifact to be installed at the Exhibition in almost two years. While the “Ship of Dreams” featured numerous cherub statues, which were primarily used as ornamentation on the Grand Staircase, this is the only statue of its kind ever recovered from the wreckage site.

The park recently opened its newest ride El Loco, a roller coaster that amazes thrill seekers with gravity-defying turns and unparalleled drops.
Attractions suitable for young children include B.C. Bus, Drifters, Sand Pirate and Canyon Cars. The park also features a 40-foot rock wall, bungee trampoline, 18-hole miniature golf course and a 4-D theater featuring SpongeBob Squarepants and Dora The Explorer.

THE MIDWAY STAGE
High above the casino floor, awe-inspiring performers from around the world delight Circus Circus visitors. The stunts include juggling, trapeze artistry, clown shows, acrobatics and more. Performances take place every 30-45 minutes daily starting at 11:10 a.m. Also under the Big Top is the Carnival Midway which features more than 200 games of skill and chance.

Circus Circus’ resident clowns are the Ambassadors of Fun on the Main Stage and perform daily at The Adventuredome.
