NEW YORK, NY, Jan. 28, 2015 – The films selected for competition in the 1st Annual New York City Drone Film Festival (NYCDFF) have been announced. For the 2015 festival, 35 films were selected out of 152 eligible films.
“The films selected for competition represent the best of the best in drone filmmaking and aerial cinematography,” said Randy Scott Slavin, the Founder and Director of the Festival. “The New York City Drone Film Festival has quickly evolved into a world-class event at the forefront of the emerging culture that surrounds this exciting new art form.” A complete list of films can be found below.
The NYCDFF is also announcing distinguished sponsors for the event. They include DJI, the world leader in cinema drones, which will provide their highest quality drones as prizes for winners in select categories and to be raffled to the Festival audience.
