The Academy of Country Music’s newly published book, This Is Country: A Backstage Pass to the Academy of Country Music Awards is now available.

 

In celebration of the upcoming 50th Anniversary of the ACM Awards in 2015, for the first time ever, the Academy opened their archives to publish never before seen photographs and memorabilia from some of the greatest moments in the history of country music in one retrospective book. This Is Country, written by Lisa Lee with a foreword by Reba, features exclusive contributions and/or interviews from artists ranging from George Strait to Taylor Swift, from Carrie Underwood to Kenny Chesney. It is a commemorative must-have for any country fan, rich in music and celebrity history.

A graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, Lee is currently the Academy’s Senior Vice President of Creative & Content Production and editor of the quarterly magazine, ACM Tempo.
