BLEACHERS ANNOUNCE HEADLINING “BLEACHERS COME ALIVE!” TOUR FOR SPRING 2015
(New York, NY) Bleachers, two-time Grammy Award winning artist Jack Antonoff’s latest musical endeavor, announce spring 2015 headlining tour “Bleachers Come Alive!”. Bleachers embarked on “The Strange Desire World Tour” this past summer and continue to sell out audiences night after night. “Bleachers leaves no song unvarnished,” said The New York Times in their review of the sold out tour stop at New York’s Webster Hall.
Just a few weeks ago as one of this year’s VH1 “You Oughta Know” artists, Bleachers performed their #1 smash hit “I Wanna Get Better” along with a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Go Your Own Way” with Chvrches on VH1 You Oughta Know Live in Concert special. “Jack Antonoff was a true rock star. Shredding away on his guitar, the frontman and his Jersey-inspired electro project Bleachers closed the night on VH1’s “You Oughta Know” Live in Concert, an 11-act medley of the year’s most promising new artists,” exclaimed NJ.com.
Bleachers recently gave a special performance of “Rollercoaster”, the second single off Bleachers’ debut album “Strange Desire” on TBS’ Conan. The band ingeniously performed alongside mini-doppelganger versions of themselves. Critics from Rolling Stone, Billboard, Buzzfeed, Stereogum, Idolator and more were buzzing about the creative approach to the performance, “It was the perfect little twist to put on the already rambunctious, synth-driven power-pop anthem from Bleachers’ debut LP, Strange Desire,” wrote Rolling Stone. The music video for “Rollercoaster” premiered earlier this month on Pitchfork (WATCH HERE) and in a short amount of time the song has leapt into the top 15 at alt radio and is rapidly climbing the charts. Additionally, “Rollercoaster” and Bleachers are featured in the first ever Chase | Apple Pay ad running nationwide now (WATCH HERE).
