Cat Depot Cat Care Clinic Opens November 17, 2014
|
Something BIG is Happening at Cat Depot!
Cat Depot is expanding its services to offer the finest quality care for felines, and those who love them. Cat Depot’s Cat Care Clinic is opening this fall, so no cat or its owner need suffer for lack of care.
For years, Cat Depot has fielded calls for help from individuals who cannot afford traditional veterinary medicine. And, we have assisted local veterinary clinics when owners have limited funds.
To create the needed space in a building filled to capacity, we made the decision to convert our garage and carport, currently used for storage and emergency response. The result was miraculous, and we hope – lifesaving.

Budd Doesn’t Know He is Different |
|
Watch Budd thrive in foster care |
Budd came to Cat Depot as a sweet, two-month-old kitten. He was born with a neurological condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) that gave him severe balance issues. There is no cure for CH, but it causes no pain, and the condition doesn’t worsen with age. Cats with CH have the same life expectancy as those without the disease.
Budd was unable to stand or walk on his own, but he didn’t know that he was any different from other cats. He was a typical kitten who loved to play. Instead of running to chase a toy, he would flip his body over to go after it.
Three very special animal lovers, Jill, Kay and Kim, fostered Budd and worked diligently with him to build up his strength and increase his mobility. Budd thrived under their care, and, along the way, they fell in love with their little rolling fur ball. Just like that, Budd found his forever family!

Black CAT Friday on November 28 |
Gregory says, “Don’t Shop. Adopt.”
Black CAT Friday is the Purr-fect Day to Adopt a Black Cat!
My name is Gregory, and as you can see, I’m a black cat. And, I’m here to remind you about Black Friday – Black CAT Friday, that is!
I think it’s wonderful that they have dedicated an entire adoption day to us black kitties. Why deal with the stress of bustling shoppers when you could be relaxing with a new furry friend for the holidays?
In addition to our sleek ebony fur, our striking golden or green eyes, and our sweet purrsonalities, we have so much to offer. So, join us on Black CAT Friday and find your forever friend!
