Miami – March 13, 2014 – Global Pop music superstar Laura Pausini, Spanish Pop singer David Bisbal, Colombian singer and songwriter Juanes, and legendary Mexican music band La Arrolladora Banda El Limon De Rene Camacho will perform at the 2014 Billboard Latin Music Awards presented by State Farm®. Multi-award-winning Italian pop music icon, singer, songwriter and record producer Laura Pausini, whose recent single with Alejandro Sanz, “Viveme” reached No. 9 on Latin Pop Airplay in January, while the latest one with Marc Anthony “Se Fue” is currently climbing the charts, has enjoyed multiple entries atop the Billboard charts. Her accolades include ten Top 10 titles on the Latin Pop Albums chart, and four singles atop the Latin Pop Airplay chart with “Amores Estraños” (1995), “Gente” (1996), “Las Cosas Que Vives” (1996), and “Como Si No Hubieramos Amado” (2006).

 

Colombian singer, songwriter and guitarist Juanes, whose new album Loco De Amor will be released this month, has achieved global appeal singing in Spanish exclusively and has become the biggest and most important popular Latin music artist in the world in the early 21st century. Juanes has placed eight songs atop the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart, including his longest-running chart-topper “Me Enamora” which spent 20 weeks at the peak. He has reached No. 1 with four albums on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart including his 2012 set Tr3s Presents: Juanes MTV Unplugged, which spent two weeks atop the list.

 

La Arrolladora Banda el Limon de Rene Camacho is up for six Billboard Latin Music awards this year. The banda group from Sinaloa, who made their commercial recording debut in 1997 and quickly rose to the top of the Mexican regional music scene, is comprised of over a dozen band members. Eight of their songs have reached the top of the Regional Mexican Airplay chart. “El Ruido de Tus Zapatos”, a finalist for Airplay Song of the Year, spent 16 weeks atop the chart. On Regional Mexican Albums, they hold three No. 1s, including Gracias Por Creer which debuted at the top in August 2013 and spent four weeks at No. 1.

 

Crossover international pop music artist David Bisbal, who after a four-year-hiatus launched his much awaited new album “Diez Mil Maneras” this month, has sold more than five million albums in Europe and the Americas, accumulating 35 Platinum albums, 17 gold and two diamond. “Corazon Latino” and “Buleria” have each received an IFPI Platinum Award, official certification for selling over one million copies across Europe. David Bisbal has had two songs reaching the top of the Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart, including “Quien Me Iba A Decir” (2006), and “Esclavo De Tus Besos” (2009). Bisbal reached the top 10 on Hot Latin Songs with eight tracks, and the Top 10 Latin Albums chart with four albums, including Sin Mirar Atras, which reached No. 1 in 2009 where it stayed for a week.
