The Juilliard Orchestra concert with conductor Fabio Luisi is the 13th annual Jerome L. Greene Concert. The Jerome L. Greene Concert honors the memory and the legacy of an individual who had an enormously positive impact on Juilliard, the City of New York, and many institutions across the nation. Mr. Greene was a Trustee of The Juilliard School from 1985 to 1999 and helped guide the institution with his wise counsel and extraordinary business skills.  During his tenure, he was one of the School’s most generous supporters and was the first to establish scholarships across all Juilliard divisions (music, dance, and drama.)  The Juilliard community is grateful to Christina McInerney, President and CEO of the Jerome L. Greene Foundation and daughter of the Foundation’s former president, the late Dawn Greene, for continuing to embrace the legacy of arts education, a cornerstone of the Foundation that has changed the lives of young artists across the globe.  Since 1985, the Jerome L. Greene Foundation has contributed more than $25 million to The Juilliard School, and Jerome L. Greene Fellowships have touched the lives of over 500 students and alumni.
