“Murphy’s vocals sounds like he was summoned from a Ouija board and is communicating from a different plane.” – Nerdist
“Those of you familiar with FlyLo’s rap alias should know what to expect already, and ‘Cosplay’ doesn’t disappoint with its blend of syrup-laced beats, low-slung bass and typically psychedelic rhymes.” – FACT Mag “His vocals are somewhere between a serpentine whisper and a pitchy, almost demonic cackle, an aesthetic further heightened by the haunted house piano, creaking bass, and swirling studio effects.” – Consequence of Sound
