Known for her comedic and dramatic roles on film, Broadway and most notably on the multiple Emmy award winning “Carol Burnett Show,” which was named one of “100 Best Television Shows of All Time,” Carol Burnett has been honored with Golden Globes, People’s Choice Awards, Horatio Alger, Ace and Peabody Awards.
A Kennedy Center Honoree, she has also received the Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize for Humor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom and was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame. In 2013 she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
A New York Times best-selling author she added playwright to her credits when she and her daughter, Carrie Hamilton, wrote Hollywood Arms, which premiered on Broadway in 2002. She’s currently co-starring on Broadway in a limited run of Love Letters. Join her in conversation with the one and only Rosie O’Donnell.

Preview Screening of My Old Lady and Discussion
Reel Pieces, the 92Y film series moderated by Annette Insdorf, continues on Monday, September 8at 7:15with actor Kevin Kline andhis new film, My Old Lady. Following a preview screening of My Old Lady, Kline and writer-director Israel Horovitz will discuss the film with Insdorf.
Horovitz adapted My Old Lady from his own play. A bittersweet drama with comic moment, the film follows New Yorker Mathias Gold (Kline) to a beautiful Paris neighborhood, where he tries to claim the sprawling apartment left to him in his estranged father’s will. But he discovers tenants—Mathilde (Maggie Smith), who was close to his father and her testy daughter (Kristin Scott-Thomas)—and must find a way to coexist with them.
