AN EVENING AT THE SARASOTA OPERA HOUSE
September 5, 2014
In 1928, the A. B. Edwards Theatre was unveiled.
The Sarasota Herald Tribune hailed Edwards for
“having admitted Sarasota into a fairyland of costly decoration,
rich furnishings and never to be forgotten artistry.
The theatre became a popular venue for
a variety of entertainment over the years.
Unfortunately, the latter years were not kind
to the original integrity of the structure.
In 2008, a $20 million project was completed
to update, as well as restore
historically appropriate decorations.
An extraordinary opportunity has been extended
to privately tour this exquisite facility
and then enjoy a cocktail reception with fine hors d’oeuvres
within this historically rich opera house.

ALOHA! LUAU!!
Thursday, October 2nd
Aloha!
An incredible evening is planned for you
to enjoy a luau (feast) on the beach
at our own private pavilion.
Arrive in tropical attire to festive Hawaiian décor
with the Gulf of Mexico as our setting.
As the sun begins its descent over the Gulf,
we will dine on a buffet of traditional luau fare,
featuring Grilled Mahi-Mahi and Pork Calypso.
A luau is not complete
without Hawaiian music and dancers…
