Miami – August 14, 2014 – Deportes Telemundo presents Manchester City’s first match of the 2014-2015 season this Sunday, August 17 at 10:55AM/9:55C/7:55P, when the English Premier League champ visits Newcastle at St. James Park. Andrés Cantor will narrate every instant of this compelling game, with commentary and analysis by Sammy Sadovnik and Manuel Sol. Manchester City has won the championship in two of the last three English Premier League tournaments. In the 2013-2014 season, it also won the League Cup.
Chile’s Manuel Pellegrini marks his second season at the “Citizens’” helm with a lineup that includes Frank Lampard, on loan with Manchester City before joining the New York City FC in the MLS; and three new players: Argentine goalkeeper Willy Caballero, Brazilian midfielder Fernando and French right back Bacary Sagna. In addition, Manchester City is fielding several members of Argentina’s national team: Pablo Zabaleta, Sergio Agüero and Martín Demichelis.
Newcastle also has three Argentine players in its ranks: Fabricio Coloccini, Jonás Gutiérrez and Facundo Ferreyra.
