USF Sarasota-Manatee to host HospitaBull at Ritz-Carlton on March 26
Since 2001, HospitaBull has provided USF Sarasota-Manatee students with hands-on opportunities to learn what it takes to successfully plan and stage an event, from food preparation to dining room and event management.
HospitaBull evening is an upscale dinner planned, organized, cooked and served by students in USFSM’s restaurant management course through the university’s College of Hospitality & Tourism Leadership.
“Hospitality students from our college will work alongside Ritz-Carlton staff both in the back of the house and front of the house,” Hospitality Management Instructor Dr. Joe Askren said. “We have an amazing event planned again this year. I hope that folks come out and enjoy a terrific evening while supporting our students.”
This year’s HospitaBull event will be held Tuesday, March 26, at 6 p.m. at the beautiful, waterfront Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota. Visit http://usfsm.edu/hospitabull for more information or to purchase tickets or sponsorship packages.
A portion of the ticket and table packages is tax deductible, and proceeds support student scholarships, faculty development and equipment purchases in the College of Hospitality Tourism & Leadership.
