(May 11, 2015 – Cincinnati, OH) – Cincinnati’s metalcore five-piece Revision, Revised has released a new lyric video for their song “Dead Icons”. The melodic, chest-pounding track is from the band’s upcoming debut EP by the same name. Joey Sturgis (Attack, Attack, Of Mice and Men) was the producer behind this record and it is set to be released later this year.

The lyric video for “Dead Icons” was produced by Cold Eye Productions and originally premiered at Revolver.

‘Dead Icons’ is the title track of our debut EP and the song talks about being yourself. We’re all equal, no one is better than anyone, because we all die the same way.” – Revision, Revised.

About Revision, Revised:

Revision, Revised is a five-piece metalcore band from Cincinnati, Ohio. Formed in December of 2012, the quintet consists of vocalist Charles Cody Wilds, guitarists Evan Williams and Jesse Wall, bassist Jared Webb, and drummer Mike Johnson. Musically Revision, Revised sets them apart from the rest of the pack, discussing relatable and controversial content. Very dynamic and creative with the mixture of melodic sporadic riffs, and chest punching breakdowns that will throw you to the floor. After devoting their initial years to establishing a name for themselves in the southern Ohio metal scene. The band spent the majority of 2014 touring the eastern and mid-western United States promoting their upcoming debut effort, “Dead Icons”. Set to be released this year, produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered by Joey Sturgis, who is known for his work with bands such as Asking Alexandria and The Devil Wears Prada, among many others. With the force of new music and growing fan-base behind them, the band sets their sights on the new year and the spread of their infectious anthems.
