Project Light Literacy Center to Celebrate 20 Years of Service to the Community

 Bradenton, FL – Project Light Literacy Center will kick off its 20th year of service during an anniversary luncheon on Saturday, October 25 at 11:30 am at the Renaissance on 9th, 1816 9th Street West in Bradenton.

The event will celebrate the center’s service to the community over the years, as well as the accomplishments of its adult learners.  The event emcee will be school board member-elect, Charlie Kennedy and the program will feature a special message from Project Light’s founder Sister Nora Brick.

Project Light has been providing accessible adult English language instruction and literacy classes for almost 20 years in Manatee County and is dedicated to empowering students with the skills and tools they need to more actively participate in, and contribute to, the community.
