Linda Perillo Zazzali, mom of 8, opens her heart and kitchen to help others

 

Linda is a first generation Italian who learned early on that food was not nutrition. It was life…in every form. She is also the daughter of Mario Perillo, Founder and CEO of Perillo Tours, who just celebrated their 75th Anniversary. Now run by her brother Stephen Perillo.

As a mom of 8, ages 7-24, Linda cooks every night for her family. Despite all the personalities and obligations, it brings us together.
“To whom much is given…much is expected”
Everyone needs help…we need each other and food is the ultimate gift of expression of kindness.
At first I thought, why don’t people reach out, and turned it into “I’m gonna reach out.”
The Benevolent Caterer is Linda’s contribution to promote understanding, love, empathy and philanthropy, no matter what.
$20.00 is a “feel good” contribution to a meal for whomever you want it for.
It will be an Entree, Veggie and Dessert for 4 adults.
Log onto www.thebenevolentcaterer.com and Linda will post what she is cooking for the week for her family, and you can choose from that, but is open to other ideas, if none of those are appealing, or if there are allergies, etc.
Food can be delivered and dropped off locally to Bergen County  at no charge, or you can arrange for a pick up.
Together, we can create a kinder world…through food.
Each week Linda posts a new menu for the week to choose from!
Some meals Linda has on her menu are Chicken Cutlet Milanese, Pasta Fagioli, Cheesy Mac, Pasta Putenesca with Tuna,
Spicy Fajita Soup, Butternut Squash Pasta with Shrimp, Cheesy Pierogi and Kielbasa Casserole, Potluck Pasta, Baked Pastina Casserole, Slow Cooker Asian Beef with Rice, Butter Shrimp and Grits, Tuna Noodle Casserole, Slow Cooker French Onion Chicken. Vegetables included are Sauteed Cabbage, Green Salad, Broiled Asparagus.
**All meals come with a pot luck dessert!**
**Linda’s Homemade Tomato Sauce is always available for $5 per quart**
