Fall is the perfect time for Southwest Florida foodies, as many favorite seasonal items begin popping up on menus and the popular “Let’s Eat, Englewood” Restaurant Week returns to Englewood. Over 20 local restaurants and eateries will participate in the third annual, two-week long event, which offers visitors an exclusive, affordable menu featuring local, seasonal flavors of Southwest Florida’s Gulf Coast. September 15 through September 29, three-course dinners will be served for $23 and two-course lunches for $12.

Food Network’s Retro Rad Chef and Orlando-resident Emily Ellyn will again this year help the Englewood Florida Chamber of Commerce celebrate “Let’s Eat, Englewood”, by joining in on a kick-off Tasting Tour of Englewood with local members of the media on September 5 and will emcee a VIP and media event on September 6 at the Boca Royale Golf & Country Club. Emily Ellyn is a culinary educator and food writer, who writes for edible magazine and is the Cake Genius at Cake Central magazine. Each year, she brings her quirky charm and unique personality to the event.

“Let’s Eat, Englewood” is a great opportunity to take in a culinary adventure through the community without breaking the bank. Locals can taste test the delicious destination, trying a variety of different restaurants at a fraction of the cost. And there’s no shortage of dining options either.

Local area seafood establishments like Leverock’s Restaurant and Beyond the Sea offer innovative variations of sustainable seafood specialties, while at Ephesus Mediterranean Grill the authentic Turkish cuisine is fantastic, and some say the area’s best. Within the 20 participating restaurants, there’s fresh Florida seafood, waterfront eateries, fine dining locales and plenty of other sweet surprises.
