VENICE THEATRE TO HOST FIRST-EVER

SUNCOAST EQUALITY CONNECTION FOR EQUALITY FLORIDA

Thursday, October 16 @ 6 pm

 

The first-ever Equality Connection in the Suncoast will take place on Thursday, October 16 at 6 pm at Venice Theatre, 140 West Tampa Avenue, Venice.

 

Equality Connections take place throughout the state and provide an opportunity for members of the community to learn about Equality Florida, as well as to mix and mingle with Equality Florida staff, volunteers and supporters.

 

The event is free and open to the public, and includes delicious light bites and a cash bar. Michael Farmer, Equality Florida’s Director of Development for Central and North Florida, along with members of the Suncoast leadership team, will provide an update on the march toward equality in Florida, as well as how the organization is working for LGBT equality in the Suncoast.

 

Sponsored by Venice Theatre, attendees may also choose to stay for a performance of The Rocky Horror Show, immediately following the Equality Connection at 8 pm.  Venice Theatre is offering a 20% discount for Equality Connection attendees.
