ANNOUNCE MIDNITE MASS EP – JAN 15TH ON DIM MAK;
MIDNIGHT MASS NORTH AMERICAN TOUR TO FOLLOW

“A track that is fun and exciting, mirroring that of their signature live performances.” – FADER
Toronto trio Keys N Krates are back with a brand new single “U Already Know“, taken from their forthcoming Midnight Mass EP, out on DIM MAK January 15, 2016. The 90s rave-inspired track is filled with their signature combo of rolling Amen breaks, hyper-glitched vocals and massive half-time drops.

The new single trails earlier knockouts “Save Me (feat. Katy B)” and “I Know U,” arriving on the heels of their non-stop summer which included sets at Electric Zoo, Mad Decent Block Party, Bumbershoot, and their own hometown Birthday Party Festival.
Following the upcoming EP release, the group will hit the road again for the Midnight Mass Tour with support from Hermitude, Stooki Sound, Ganz, and Jesse Slayter. Kicking off Jan. 19th in Burlington, Vermont, the tour will touch down in major North American markets including Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Denver, LA, and will end March 25th with a hometown Toronto show at Danforth Music Hall. Tickets go on sale this Friday: www.midnitemass.com

Speaking on the approaching release and subsequent tour, Keys N Krates says, “The Midnite Mass tour is going to be a visual extension of the EP, with everything from the lighting and staging to the supporting acts reflecting vibes and influences that exist in the EP. We want it to feel almost like a religious gathering, cause that really in essence is what rave culture is in a lot of ways.”

About Keys N Krates:

Known for their hallmark blend of hip-hop infused electronic beats, Keys N Krates have proven to be one of dance music’s most unconventional juggernauts. The trio, comprised of a drummer, turntablist and synthesizer/keyboardist, has spent the last seven years bulldozing their way past DJ-driven comfort zones and onto global dance floors as paragons of shape-shifting productions.

Keys N Krates catapulted to fame after their 2013 hit “Dum Dee Dum” sold 200K downloads and its official music video racked up 5 million YouTube views. The three-piece steamrolled through 2014 with a headlining national tour and Dim Mak’s release of their six-track Every Nite EP, which peaked at #2 on iTunes’ Top Electronic Albums chart last September. The trio subsequently released Every Nite (The Remixes) last December, featuring an eclectic selection of reworks from Machinedrum, Darq E Freaker, Chris Lorenzo, Taiki Nulight and R3II.

The festival favorites have taken center stage at events such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, EDC Vegas, Electric Zoo, Ultra Music Festival, Sonar Festival, Tomorrowland, Electric Zoo, Bumbershoot and Bestival, to name a few.
