CHICAGO – The Lyric Opera of Chicago Broadcasts kick off the 2015-16 season on Fri., Sept. 11 with the live broadcast of the “Stars of Lyric Opera at Millennium Park” free concert on 98.7WFMT and wfmt.com.The classical station’s chief announcer Peter van de Graaff and Lyric’s dramaturg Roger Pines will co-anchor this season’s Lyric Opera of Chicago Broadcasts.

The eight operas in Lyric’s 2015-16 season are being broadcast live on their opening performances. van de Graaf and Pines will co-anchor the opera broadcasts, which start with live commentary and recorded interviews at the times shown below.
