THE HUDSON PROJECT:

INAUGURAL THREE-DAY MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL

JULY 11, 12 AND 13

AT WINSTON FARM

IN SAUGERTIES, NEW YORK

LOOKS TO CREATE COMMUNAL FESTIVAL EXPERIENCE

FOLLOWING LEAD OF LEGENDARY WOODSTOCK AND

25TH AND 30TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS

THE HUDSON PROJECT is looking to build a sense of community around its inaugural event, July 11, 12 and 13 at Winston Farm in Saugerties, New York.  The location, well established in music festival history, lends itself to establishing a weekend festival community with a majority of festival-goers taking advantage of the onsite camping options as an escape from city life for a weekend.  Festival producers MCP are working with Michael Lang–one of the founders of the inaugural Woodstock and subsequent 25th and 30th anniversary events–in creating this sense of community within the festival experience.

On the music side, THE HUDSON PROJECT will include one stage dedicated exclusively to supporting the music of the New York-area.  Presented by BangOn!NYC, The Future FM, Guthrie/Bell, MCP Presents, Michael Lang, Nue Agency, Pickthorn Studios and VOCAL, the NEW YORK STAGE will feature more than 25 acts–including Rome Fortune, Walking Shapes, Adrian Lau, The Unsheathed, Austin Millz, Joel Michael Howard, Sunflower Bean, F. Stokes and Seasick Mama, among others (full list below)–performing during festival hours.  In the hours the stage is not being utilized for performances, attendees can take advantage of a variety of activities including morning yoga sessions.  The NEW YORK STAGE area will also include the Lit Lounge/Illegal Mescal Bar with specialty craft cocktails, seating areas, a variety of yard games and interactive activities, along with World Cup viewings.

THE HUDSON PROJECT will also offer festival-goers a variety of options to get out of the sun, charge their phones, play games, win prizes and sample a variety of beverages.  The Bud Light Beer Garden is the perfect gathering place for Hudson fans to sit and enjoy an ice cold Bud Light at the mobile bar that will be showing the World Cup Finals all weekend.  The space also includes an interactive digital kiosk and a phone charging station on board.  The Ole Smoky Moonshine Mobile Holler–where Hudson fans can get a taste of Tennessee; Ole Smoky will be onsite pouring up signature cocktails made from delicious moonshine distilled and jarred at the company’s famed Gatlinburg distillery.  The Jack Daniel’s Experience will offer a free mobile distillery tour (an inside look into how Jack Daniel’s Tennessee whiskey is made), Jack Daniel’s trivia, giveaways and more.  The Mike’s Hard Lemonade space allows fans to interact with their vending machine to win some SWAG, chill in their lounge, play some corn hole or life-size jenga and sample their mike’s HARDER.  Premium liquor options from El Jimador and Prairie Organic Spirits will also be available at bars** throughout the festival grounds and The Keurig® Tasting Vehicle (positioned near the main stage) and the Wake up with Keurig® Station (situated in the campgrounds) will offer free coffee, tea, or iced beverages as a way to recharge throughout all three days of the festival.

Beer lovers will also have a variety of options to choose from.  Join the Magic Hat Brewing Co–as they celebrate good cheer and good beer by hosting a festival within a festival.  With The House of Ale and Odd Notions Beer Festival, the Magic Hat Brewing Co will welcome their fellow brew community by featuring 10 craft breweries with 20 different selections.  Selections include:  Shock Top Belgian White and Lemon Shandy; Goose Island IPA and 312; New Buffalo Big Fish Bitter and Saloon Boss Brown; Magic Hat Over the Pils and Circus Boy Hefe; Keegan Ale’s Hurricane Kitty and Old Capital; Captain Lawrence Brown Bird and Kolsch; Brewery Ommegang Hennepin Ale, Abbey Ale and Hennepin Farmhouse Saison; Southern Tier 2xIPA and LIVE Pale Ale; Saratoga Lager and Summer; Yonker’s Lager and Honey Blonde.  Meanwhile, the Magic Hat Dreamatorium–an isle of ales, lounging and mystery. While you’re there, turn on, hop in and take off in the Dream Machine, a refuge for musical foragers.
