These larger-than-life works are a perfect fit for Philadelphia’s deep and unique sound, and will accentuate the majestic atmosphere of the Colorado Rockies.

RACHMANINOFF:Symphonic Dances

Sensational French pianist Hélène Grimaud, noted for her unique phrasings and fresh approach to conventional pieces, takes the stage to perform Brahms’ first piano concerto.  The program concludes with Rachmaninoff’s energetic and rhythmic Symphonic Dances, written by the great Russian master specifically for The Philadelphia Orchestra. This concert is a can’t-miss.

Gates open at 10:30AM for the Instrument Petting Zoo; the concert begins at 11:30AM.
Avon Presents: Bravo! Vail Flamenco Fusion

This new Bravo! Vail free concert series kicks off with Tito del Barrio Malaga, performing its signature blend of flamenco, gypsy, rumba, bolero, and salsa music in an evening sure to get audiences on their feet.
