BROOKINGS, S.D. – Dec. 3, 2015 – Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, has partnered with the Springfield Cardinals and The Hammons Group to provide a new 13HD LED video display at Hammons Field in Springfield, Missouri. Installation of the fifth largest display in the minor leagues is slated for January so the display can be making an impact at Cardinals games in 2016. It will the first 13HD display at the Cardinals level of competition and one of only four such displays in the minor leagues.

“We are incredibly excited about the new video display at Hammons Field,” said Springfield Cardinals Vice President / General Manager Matt Gifford. “The Springfield Cardinals are grateful to John Q. Hammons Industries for having made this upgrade possible in the spirit of celebrating Mr. Hammons’ legacy and his immense passion for sports. The new display is going to both enhance the landscape of the ballpark and allow us to continue to improve our fans’ entertainment with unprecedented features, promotions and information. We can’t wait for everyone to experience the new display on April 14 at Opening Night.”
