Local cleanup planned for after July Fourth events

 

SARASOTA COUNTY – After every party, is inevitably the cleanup; and Sarasota County is ready for after July Fourth celebrations with the “Liberty Litter Cleanup” scheduled for Saturday, July 5. 

 

More than 100 volunteers have signed up to assist with cleanup efforts at five beach locations led by the Keep Sarasota County Beautiful program. 

WHAT: “Liberty Litter Cleanup”

WHEN: Interview/Photo/Video opportunity on Saturday, July 5, 7:45 – 8:45 a.m.  

WHERE: North Jetty Beach, 1000 Casey Key Road, Nokomis

WHY: Community members volunteer their time to assist in cleanup efforts following July Fourth celebrations.
