ROSER COMMUNITY CHURCH WELCOMES NEW PASTOR
Rev. Dr. Robert D. O’Keef has accepted the position of Pastor at Roser Memorial Community Church.
His first Sunday will be August 24, 2014.
Rev. O’Keef received his Masters of Divinity from Duke University Divinity School and his Doctorate of Ministry, summa cum laude, from Drew University Theological School.
During his years as a pastor he has served in churches large and small, urban and rural. He is a published author of two books, one fiction and one non-fiction. Those who have met Rev. O’Keef have been impressed by his warmth, the ease with which he talks to people, and his faith. Bob’s wife Phyllis is an experienced church musician. They have two adult children and two young grandchildren. Bob and Phyllis are relocating to the area from North Carolina.
Everyone is invited to join us in welcoming Rev. O’Keef to Roser Community Church, Anna Maria Island and the Bradenton area on Sunday, August 24 at 10:00 AM. Bring the whole family… children will be dismissed after the Children’s Message for their own special program. Refreshments will be served following the service as we celebrate August birthdays and welcome Pastor Bob.
