Residents of Manatee County and the surrounding areas are invited to come see the Faces of HIV Mobile Art Exhibit.  The exhibit features captivating portraits, poignant journals and touching stories of Florida residents surviving and thriving with HIV.

The project allows people from across the state to experience real-life stories of inspirational and courageous individuals who have shared their difficulties, battles and triumphs by giving visitors an up close and personal glimpse into the lives of those living with HIV.

On Friday March 6th, the exhibit will be located at Manatee Technical Institute’s East Campus found at 5520 Lakewood Ranch Blvd. in Bradenton. The exhibit will be located in front of the Conrad Building from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

On Saturday March 7th, the exhibit will welcome the public at the Bradenton Farmer’s Market. Look for the Faces of HIV on Old Main Street (12th Street West) between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Free testing from the Manatee County Health Department will also be offered at the market.

If you can’t make it to the market, text your zip code to 477493 and receive a text about the closest testing facility or click here to search online. You can find out more about the Faces of HIV on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
