I wanted to let you know about our new campaign, MyFirstBackpack.org, that runs from now through June. The Early Learning Coalition has teamed up with The HuB to raise awareness for their mission and supply underprivileged children with high quality school supplies.

Our goal

3150 children in Sarasota live in poverty and do not have access to the supplies needed to reach their full potential in early learning. With your help, MyFirstBackpack provides the tools needed for a child to succeed.

How you can help as an individual.

The MyFirstBackpack.org campaign is a great opportunity for people to get involved with The Early Learning Coalition, a local non-profit whose mission is to serve the children in our community who otherwise would not have access to high quality early learning experiences.

  • Donate as little as $20 at myfirstbackpack.org to fund a child with a backpack full of supplies.

  • Share the campaign via social media and encourage your friends to donate too!

How you can help as a business.

The MyFirstBackpack.org campaign is also a great opportunity for companies to align their brands with this great non-profit, and help kids in our community.

  • Encourage your employees to visit myfirstbackpack.org.

  • Offer to match the donations from your employees.

  • Create a contest for the most donations referred.

  • Become a $500 or more Corporate Sponsor. A donation of $500 will fund an entire classroom with Backpacks and Supplies.

The biggest way to help is to spread the word and raise awareness, whether it is from e-mail, social media, or word of mouth, every interaction helps!

Let me know if you would like to get involved or would like more information. Thanks again for your continued support.

Best,

David
