British electronic music trio ABOVE & BEYOND are wrapping up their 50+ date global “We Are All We Need Tour” in support of their new album, WE ARE ALL WE NEED during Miami Music Week on Thursday, March 26 at The Soundgarden at Mana Wynwood. The 21 and over show will also feature support from (in alphabetical order): 16 Bit Lolitas, ilan Bluestone, Lane 8 and Super8 & Tab with more to be announced soon.  Released January 20 via Anjunabeats/Ultra Music, the album—their third studio album and most successful to date—placed in the top 10 iTunes album charts in 20 countries including the U.S., U.K. and Australia, with #1 placings in six countries, including India and Argentina, and also reached #1 on the iTunes dance charts in 22 countries. An expansive 16 tracks, WE ARE ALL WE NEED is rich in texture and emotion; including reflective down tempo moments alongside progressive club selections. Songs from the album include the passionate ode to friendship “We Are All We Need” (feat. Zoë Johnston), the anthemic “Blue Sky Action” (feat. Alex Vargas) and the possessive, post break-up tension record “Sticky Fingers.” ABOVE & BEYOND (aka Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamäki) also enlisted the vocal talents of Justine Suissa on “Little Something” and Gemma Hayes on “Counting Down the Days.” Their remarkable 15 year rise continues with achievements such as their October 2014 sell-out headlining show at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden, becoming the first British electronic act to headline the venue. The landmark show was recently broadcasted on Palladia TV and can also be viewed here. Listen to their special tour mixtape the guys recently compiled for Pandora here and tune in to Last Call with Carson Daly on April 3 to watch the live performances of “Peace of Mind” and “Thing Called Love” from their sold-out Los Angeles Forum show last month.

BIG GIGANTIC, one of the most celebrated acts in live music right now, recently released their brand new single “Get On Up” to rave reviews with DJ MAG USA hailing the song as a “funk-laden bass masterpiece that explains exactly why they’re called Big Gigantic. Mindblowing” (2/9/15). Available as a FREE download via their website www.biggigantic.net , you can also listen to the song here: https://soundcloud.com/biggigantic/get-on-up. DATSIK— the North American producer and purveyor of new bass hip-hop–is currently in the midst of his North American Ninja Nation Tour in support of his new EP DOWN 4 MY NINJAS out now via his own imprint Firepower Records but makes a break for the Smog Vs Firepower night in Miami at Mekka.  He’ll highlight material from his new Down 4 My Ninjas EP plus other cool cuts from his Firepower arsenal. The new EP boasts collaborations with hip-hop legends KRS-One and DJ Paul from the GRAMMY-Award winning rap collective Three 6 Mafia. DATSIK gives the classic genre new energy to burn with his signature bass forward approach…a formula for future hip-hop. From Mayor Apeshit’s filthy lyrical swordplay in “Katana” to DJ Paul’s Dirty South “Zero F**ks” attitude in “Get Smashed,” the tracks could have possibly been featured in the rap sections in record stores of the past.  Listen to the EP here: https://soundcloud.com/datsik/sets/down-4-my-ninjas-d4mn.

In an era where unexpected ingredients thrive, MAKO offers a truly unique experience. Before an introduction was made, the two budding artists, Logan Light and Alex Seaver, spent their early life progressing musically in radically different worlds. Alex attended The Juilliard School on full scholarship as musician and played with some of the world’s elite classical artists in the most storied of venues. Meanwhile, Logan was quietly mastering the art of DJing and within only a few years, began opening for some of dance music’s biggest international acts, including Tiesto and Avicii, and major appearances, including Lollapalooza.   The group’s first release “Beam” quickly circulated on blogs and YouTube, logging more than 2.5 million views to date. The track was featured on SiriusXM’s Beta Test Tuesday which then prompted them to proclaim MAKO is “the next big thing.” Since then, MAKO has found themselves in studio with some of dance music’s top artists: Avicii, Sander Van Doorn, R3hab, DubVision, Heather Bright, Le Castle Vania and many others. They recently released their new track “I Won’t Let You Walk Away” with Island Records recording artist Madison Beer on February 24 (https://youtu.be/TmEOX2kCSzw).
