MSO PR PROMOTES
MARCEE RONDAN
TO EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Marcee Rondan has been promoted from Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President of MSO PR effective immediately, announced the company’s President, Mitch Schneider.
In her new position, Rondan will work alongside Schneider in the day-to-day operations of the company while further exploring opportunities that best serve the company and MSO’s clients. Marcee will continue to work on longtime clients Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, Dave Stewart and the Zappa Family Trust along with a variety of festivals including Budweiser Made In America (Philadelphia and Los Angeles), CounterPoint Music & Arts Festival (GA), Rock On The Range (OH) and The Hudson Project (NY).
“Marcee has always rocked it for the company and our clients,” says Schneider, “and this promotion really underlines how valuable she is to all 14 of us at MSO. Marcee’s guiding light continues to move the company forward on many levels. And it all goes back to the band X,” explains Schneider. “When Marcee was an intern back in the day [at Levine/Schneider PR], she saw a book in my office about the great band X written by Chris Morris, and we instantly bonded since they were our favorite band; I offered her a full-time position right then and there. As always, good taste prevails!”
“It’s been an incredible journey to have watched this company grow and to be a part of that process is such an honor,” Rondan says. “My new role will allow me to continue doing two things I love: exploring new ways to make us a more efficient company and still allowing me to focus on PR–pursuing great opportunities and building successful campaigns for our clients.”
Rondan joined Levine/Schneider Public Relations as an intern after graduating from the University of California at Irvine with a degree in Comparative Literature/Creative Writing. In addition to serving as a publicist at the company, Rondan became a Vice President in 1997 and a Senior Vice President in 2000.
