CELEBRATES ITS 30th ANNIVERSARY 
WITH ITS ANNUAL
CITY SKATE CONCERT SERIES AT
ROCKEFELLER CENTER 
JANUARY 27, FEBRUARY 24, and MARCH 23!
 
New York, NY (January 14, 2016): The Ice Theatre of New York (ITNY) returns to the world famous Rink at Rockefeller Center January 27, February 24, and March 23 to celebrate it’s 30th Anniversary with its annual City Skate Concert Series.
 
ITNY will be bringing together world-class professional skaters and performers in celebration of the company’s 30th anniversary and will be presenting new pieces through out the course of the series as well as performing numbers from their extensive repertory of the last 30 years.
 
The March 23rd concert will feature the U.S. Premiere of “Homage” a piece choreographed by former ITNY performer and choreographer Florentine Houdiniére, and pays tribute to the victims of the recent Nov 13th Paris attacks. This piece originated in France and will be making its debut in the U.S. with the Ice Theatre of New York. ITNY will be performing such numbers from their repertory as “Hot Chocolate”, “O Mio Babbino Caro” as well as premiering “Swimming,” a new piece choreographed by Elliot Halverson and much more. 
 
The 2016 City Skate Concert Series will be presented on Wednesdays, January 27, February 24, and March 23 at 1:00 P.M. at The Rink at Rockefeller Center, located on Fifth Avenue between 49th and 50th Street in midtown Manhattan.
 
The 2016 City Skate Concert Series is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the City Council. Ice Theatre of New York receives funding from the Bloomberg Philanthropies, Dance/NYC, the Lisa McGraw Figure Skating Foundation, the Pioneer Fund, the Will Sears Fund and its generous private patrons.
