Veteran novelist, poet, screenwriter, songwriter and playwright, Lucy Deutsch.  Holocaust survivor, Lucy, has devoted her life to inspire others, remembering the insurmountable tribulations she experienced as a child.  She has used her story to successfully create two books, plays and musicals.

“The Miracle,” which she hopes to bring to screen, is a reconstruction of her famed “No Time To Weep” stage play that tells her story as a life transforming event of iconic measures through song.  Her life took on a meaning of survival for which she didn’t compromise nor weaken, and didn’t give leniency for those who try to destroy her heritage within.  Among her many recognitions, in 1991 she appeared on CNN for receiving a letter from General Shwarzkof for a song she wrote about the Gulf war.  In 2012, she received a letter from the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, thanking her for sending her daughters her biography Shattered Childhood.

Already successfully impacting others via public speaking, business endeavors, author and as a writer, Lucy aspires to bring her musical “The Miracle” to the big screen.  Proud to be veteran member of Beyond Baroque, a literature of arts organization in Los Angeles, Lucy desires to continue to inspire and tell her story at the seasoned age of 84.
