HINDER ANNOUNCES UPCOMING SHOWS
IN ADVANCE OF THEIR
5TH STUDIO ALBUM RELEASE

WHEN THE SMOKE CLEARS
OUT MAY 12
VIA THE END RECORDS/ADA

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE New York, NY (February 25, 2015) – Multi-platinum rockers Hinder will release their fifth full-length studio album, When The Smoke Clears, May 12 via The End Records/ADA. Having toured with the likes of Mötley Crüe and Nickelback to Aerosmith and Papa Roach, Hinder brings their high energy and big sound to select US locations in conjunction with the release.

The songs on When The Smoke Clears run the gamut from rowdy rock to subtle country influence to memorable pop hooks, all of which retain the DNA-distinct spirit of Hinder. That ability to walk the tightrope between genres, without a net, is something drummer Cody Hanson is proud of.

“We can cross genres whenever we want,” he said. “We don’t want to be a band that can only do that one thing. We have something for everyone. We’ve always been that way. Having the ability to do our own production, having our own studio, gives us a chance to experiment and try new things.”

The group’s new single ‘Hit The Ground, featuring Marshal Dutton on lead vocals, continues to garner new adds at Active Rock with each passing week.

Combining raw riffs with big hooks and vocal harmonies, Hinder takes their cues from rock legends such as Aerosmith, AC/DC, KISS and Guns N’ Roses, and updates them with modern guitar sounds. Their debut release Extreme Behavior catapulted the band to mainstream fame while 2008’s follow up Take It to the Limit surpassed Gold status after debuting at #4 on the Billboard Top 200 with over 80,000 copies sold first week. Third effort, All American Nightmare, dropped in 2010, followed by Welcome To The Freakshow in 2012.
